Hi, I’m testing Everest Forms at the link I entered. I’m impressed and want to switch over to it but there’s one basic thing I don’t know how to do. There must be a way to automatically insert a logged-in member’s phone number into my phone field. I’m using Ultimate Member and have a working shortcode to retrieve the info: [um_user user_id=”” meta_key=”mobile_number”]

How can I use it as the default field value?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @pccjenny,

Thank you for reaching out to us,

Yes, it’s possible to include the login user values that are added through Ultimate Member.
Please select the Number field in Everest Forms, and in the Default Value section, use {user_meta key=phone_number} to display the user’s phone number.

Similarly, you can retrieve other user meta values as shown in this screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/dfPBIjh.png

    Best regards!

Just a note, it only worked with a single line text field, not a field of the type phone or number. But I’m just happy to have it working in any case!
