e-landing-sitemap empty

Hello,
When checking the sitemap generated by Yoast I realize that the e-landing part is empty. I guess it is supposed to have the main page? Do you have any idea why this is empty?

@yvanrouxel We apologize for the difficulties and can certainly understand how this would be frustrating.
We understand that you have a problem with the sitemap not showing any URLs in the
e-landing-page-sitemap.xmlchild sitemap file.Have you excluded posts, services and products from the search results for this type?
There are two places to do that:
-
• SEO → Search Appearance → Content Types
• The Advanced area in the Yoast meta box (see image here). Can you please try the aforementioned suggestions and let us know whether this resolves your issue with the sitemap?
Hello,
Thanks for your answer. I have checked both and they look normal.
The content type
The Advanced AreaBest,
YvanHi,
Based on your screenshots, that specific landing page should show up in that child sitemap.
Could you provide us an example URL of an e-landing page that you are expecting to show in that sitemap?
You may also want to check this help center article for more assistance on empty sitemaps — https://yoast.com/help/my-sitemap-is-blank-what-s-wrong/#empty
We doubt that’s not the main page because main page URL is inside the page sitemap https://c2-circuit-coaching.fitness/page-sitemap.xml
Can you please provide a screenshot of the entire settings under • SEO → Search Appearance → Content Types?
Hello,
Here is the entire setting un SEO –> Search Appearance –> Content Types:
Best,
Yvan@yvanrouxel Thanks for your reply.
We reviewed the screenshots you provided and your settings in the SEO>Search Appearance area are configured correctly to include the e-landing-page type in your sitemap.
Can you please let us know what plugin you are using to create the e-landing-page?
Also, can you please provide us with an example URL of one of the pages that is configured as the e-landing-page type?
There is another way you can set a page to
noindexwhich will in turn remove the page from the sitemap, so we would also recommend checking this as well on the individual page’s edit page. You can check this setting by performing the following actions:
-
• Go to the Edit screen for a page by going in WordPress to Pages and then clicking the ‘Edit’ link beneath the Page in question
• Scroll down to the Yoast metabox
• Click on the ‘Advanced’ area
• For ‘Allow search engines to show this in search results?’ make sure this is set to ‘Yes’
* Note (setting this value to Yes will set meta robots toindexand will include the page in the sitemap, whereas setting No would set meta robots tonoindexand remove the page from the sitemap.)Can you please try the aforementioned suggestions and let us know whether this resolves your issue?
I guess it is a limitation on my theme (Hestia) more than anything else. Every pages are set to index.
Best,
YvanHi,
If you don’t have any relevant e-landing-pages that you would like to have shown in the search results and appear in the sitemap, you can choose to have it not show in the search results (setting this to ‘no’ – https://pasteboard.co/JVUo3JD.png) and it should be removed from the sitemap accordingly, so no blank results appear.
Otherwise, could you provide us with an example URL of a valid e-landing-page generated from that content type that you are expecting to show in the sitemap index?
Hello,
Thanks for the tip, it works this way.
Best,
Yvan
