E-mail comments stopped!

    It seems to be a common problem now for some reason. I hope someone has an answer soon.

    stirman; what version of WordPress? Did you update recently? Did your host change anything?

    Using WP 1.3, and no, I didn’t update anything recently, and I don’t think my host did either! Is there anything specific I can ask them about touching recently?

    I have had this problem since I upgraded to WP2. Nobody seems to know what the cause is.

    I was just about to post this very same problem before I saw this thread. I’m using version 2.0 and it was working fine but I just transferred to a new host and all of the sudden it stopped working. I have tried re-uploading files and everything, to no avail. I could re-install but I am trying to avoid doing that. 🙁

    Ok this is odd… now it is working again. I’m guessing it has to do with something related to the host? Weird!

    Just confirmed my host is temporarily disabling web site generated e-mail due to a spam vulnerability they found… heh. So, guess that solves it on my end. For those still having the issue, contact your host!!!
