I tested this on a test site and I had to grant permission in my email client for the images to load properly. This looks similar to the error that you are showing.
Please be sure that your email client is set to load remote images by default. Depending on the email client you are using, this will be configured differently.
Thanks but unfortunately that’s not the issue. If I right click on the image and try to get the code behind it, it references the old domain name of my website:

I just need to change the ‘myopnionisfact.life’ url but I don’t know where the heck that’s referenced within the system.

Since you are finding references of your old domain name there, I’d suggest using Better Search Replace to search for any references of your old domain, and updating them to the current one. You can download that plugin below:

Thank you ran the search/replace feature and no instances of the old domain found in the database. I had already done that find/replace in the phpmyadmin area of bluehost, but it was good to check again.

Regarding your question, yes, Jetpack sends the new posts notification email, but I checked, and your site had some staging site URL entries that could cause these errors.
I’ve updated these URLs to the correct one. Could you check if it is working on your end, please?
