E-mail notify doesn’t work

    Hey guys,
    Unfortunately, the function E-Mail notify with new comments does not work. I don’t get any emails…
    Can someone help me?

    Soo nothing works. When I want to notify about new comments I have to confirm but I don’t get any Emails. Why??

    Hi Rombey,
    Please read this support topic and go attentive through each point. There is no way to debug your email issue. It’s 100% site specific and you should check these ponts to find the reason.

    Also please deactivate all plugins and then test.

    Sorry but I don’t know what to do. I tested it with a new WordPress installation, everthing with my server is okay. So I get as admin an email when a new comment is published. These settings I set in Settings/discussion ….email me when a new comment and so on….

    I don’t know what can I do next. I followed your troubleshooting….

    And by the way…I tested your demo on your site. The notice was to confirm my subscribtion. But I don’t get any emails yet! No spam, no mail…:(

    So I tested another plugin calls “comment mail” where you can create your own subscription. Everything works perfectly, so the issue must be in your plugin 🙁

    Hi Rombey,
    as it’s mentioned in support topic there is no way to debug local email issues, so I’m really sorry, but I have no idea. Have you checked each point mentioned in support topic? Can you leave some comments related to each point?
    Please don’t use any plugin for email, all conflicts with wpDiscuz. Please delete and remove all those. Also please leave website URL to allow us test it, make sure the guest commenting is enabled.

    So there is no issue no your plugin. I’m sorry about that. I tested my website on a new webserver (Bplaced-Free). And there is everthing okay…so it’s my Server (paid). So what can I do…for example which configuration is the issue?? Or it could be??

    My hoster aks, whether it’s possible to send email in your plugin via smtp???

    wpDiscuz uses wp_mail() function to send emails. This is the default WordPress email sender function. If WordPress works, wpDiscuz will work as well.
