    I am going nuts!

I have set up a WooCommerce store on this website. (It is still in testing mode). Earlier on in the spring it did seem to work fine. Now however the site does not send out any e-mails (confirmations or orders). I have tried and tested everything but nothing works. Occasionally I do receive an order (store) e-mail or sometimes a order confirmation (customer), but never both and never consistently. I have also noticed that sometime there can be a substantial delay.

I have worked everything through with my service provider and we find nothing wrong in the mail set up. I did install WP Mail Logging and it does not indicate any errors.

Is there anyway to “reset” the store, without loosing inventory? I have rebuilt tables and databases – nothing seems to help!

Please throw a downing man a life line….

  • If it’s any comfort, it’s unlikely it’s an issue with the store itself, so I don’t think you’ll need to reset anything. It’s more likely an issue with how the mail’s being sent, which is most-easily fixed by switching to a dedicated SMTP provider (if you’re not using one already). Any of the providers suggested in the email FAQ are good choices, and are mostly free.

If you’re already using a dedicated SMTP provider, I can give some additional suggestions.

    Hi @zignar,

It’s been a while since we heard from you, so I’m marking this thread resolved. Hopefully, you’ve been able to resolve this, but if you haven’t, please let open up a new topic and we’ll be happy to help out.

    Cheers,
