EA Dynamic Gallery

I upgraded to EA Pro to gain access to a specific widget called Dynamic Gallery. Seeming to offer what I want (dynamic filtering against category and tags for query returns). I have my ‘posts per page’ set at 6 posts (as some tags will return 20+ post results), and have activated the ‘load more’ option to pull in additional posts. All looked good initially, but I have discovered some problems:

1. I have noticed that the query regularly returns duplicate posts and sometimes no posts (even though there are some). This doesn’t seem consistent, can relate to any post, any query type, but there is always some problem.

2. The ‘load more’ button shows, it pulls in more/remaining posts as expected but then the button remains (even though there are no more posts to pull in). The button will also present even if the query return is less than the ‘posts per page’.

I have done some checks and testing….Strangely, if I increase the ‘posts per page’ to a value in excess of the total query results…. the first problem (duplicate or missing posts) is resolved, all posts are shown reliably without any issue.

Any thoughts?

Any other similar widgets that could do similar for me? (to save space, it would be great for the filter to offer a ‘drop down’ instead of listing each one separately).
