Hello, I tried to get the EA Facebook Feed element to work, and I followed all of the steps outlined at https://essential-addons.com/elementor/docs/facebook-feed/

However, at the final stage, when adding the access token into the credential page, there is no Credential or secret key/ID info that appears. It just remains blank.

I searched the forums here and see others have had a similar thing happen, and I applied the advice there, to use the Meta debugger, but that still did not help because Granular Scopes were not visible (only Scopes without the needed info).

I have tried doing this repeatedly, following all the steps, but no change. Can you help me with this?

    Hi @jedart

    Greetings!

Sorry to hear about your experience, but, I checked on my side and I could not replicate the issue. The access token debugger displayed also necessary info and scopes, please check here, https://d.pr/v/JTbrLl

While using access token debugger please use the link: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/accesstoken/

Also, here is the complete process if creating access token with all necessary permission of page and scopes. Please check the screencast, https://d.pr/v/INS3jv and make sure, you have followed the process.

    Sorry for the delayed reply.

    Thanks

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I think my issue is that I cannot see the granular scopes. Only basic scopes show up for me. Is there a setting to change that? Please let me know if screenshots would be helpful.

    Hi @jedart

    Greetings!

If you’re unable to see the granular scopes (and only the basic ones appear), that usually indicates a Facebook app permission or mode issue rather than anything in Essential Addons. Please make sure, you are the owner/admin of that facebook account and the facebook page account.

I am sorry, but, there is no such screenshot or option to enable granular scope. If you have proper permssion then the scope should be available accordingly. While generating the token, please make sure the user type as ‘page’. Also, I think you can follow the process https://d.pr/v/INS3jv from the begining, and create the token again.

    Thanks
