    Currently using WordFence on all four sites I’m admin for – three are low profile, low traffic, so I use the free versions and have seen no problems. The fourth site is higher volume community service and it started getting hammered on by hacking attempts. Nothing got through but the server load was affecting performance and the host threatened to cut us off, so I upgraded to premium to allow more filtering options and that solved the problem.
