• My client has a couple of ebooks set up using Easy Paypal. This was set up by another developer (working for our company). The client wants to add a couple more ebooks and my boss wants me to take care of it.

When I click ‘update products’ I get the error message ‘Storage Loc: /var/chroot/home/content/72/…/ht…chd/…grv7.epub Error moving the file. Please ensure that the storage directory exists and is writeable.’

I was assuming that the part before the ‘…epub’ ending in ‘…chd’ was the directory I needed to create in the root of his GoDaddy folders. I created it and made sure it was writeable; however, I am still getting the same error message.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did the initial couple of ebooks work okay, before adding the couple of more?

When you open the admin page (by clicking on the Setting -> Easy PayPal), do you see any error message about the storage location? I mean, before you try to update the product.

The directory you should be setting permission to 777 is the one you described.
