Easy post menu using theme

    I am looking for a plugin that will allow a user to select a menu to write a simple post using their own theme, without having to be in the Dashboard. For exmple, something like the “New Post” menu on the Dashboard. This is for a very simple journal entry type blog — the simpler the better.

    I am trying tdo mini forms now. Any other ideas?

    It looks like tdo mini forms can only be put in a sidebar with the widget. I would like to put it on a page that I can have a page list menu to link to a full page. Is that possible?

    I’m going to close this now and move over to the TDO Mini Forms forum. I think I’ll be able to do what I need. Thanks for your help.

    it’s pretty simple to do yourself without a plugin. check out wp_insert_post()
