Easy TOC Can’t Exclude headings

    Hi,

    I am trying to exclude headings which are being picked up by related post inserts using a plugin but when I enter the titles in the Exclude Headings section of the post nothing happens.

    Is there a known bug or do I need to follow a format?

    An example would be in the link I have given. I wish to exclude the heading- “Walking Holiday and Hiking Packing List”

    How can I do this?

    This is happening to me in the new update, I have never had issues before this latest update.

    For whatever reason, some of the google adsense code is getting picked up and turned into a heading, probably because it was wrapped in h1/h2 etc tags but still, it never did this before until randomly and when I try to exclude it, so far, I have failed.

    (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

    ^This shows up now as a heading, I have tried to exclude it by targeting typing in:*(adsbygoogle* but nothing is working. Please assist.

    I am using Create by Mediavine https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/mediavine-create/

    But I also tried to remove just normal headings and it did not work.

    Thanks for sharing the link to the exact plugin. The next update, releasing before end of day, will include a compatibility filter to exclude headings within a Mediavine Card.

    Has this happened yet? The headings from Mediavine cards no longer appear but there is no option to choose if you want them or not. Is this what the update was to do?

    Yes, all headings inside a Mediavine Card will automatically be excluded.
