Is there a way to easy write small caps inside WordPress documents? I know that I can manually use de tags <span style=”font-variant: small-caps;”> and </span>, but to do this is very laborious.

Hmm, don’t think there’s an easy way to do that by default. One thing may be to add a suitable CSS class to editor-style.css and then import it in the editor. That should create a menu item letting you apply it to selected text.

Another way is to add custom settings for that menu by using the Advanced TinyMCE Configuration plugin. The setting is described here: https://www.tiny.cloud/docs-4x/configure/content-formatting/#style_formats.
