eBay orders generating reminder email

    Hi,

    I have recently started using your excellent plugin.

    In my Woocommerce store I have 2 types of order. Direct website orders via standard Woocommerce shop and eBay orders – uploaded into WC by WC-Lister for eBay plugin. For obvious reasons I only want your plugin to request reviews from the direct website orders.

    I have enabled the setting “Registered Customers” which is described as “Registered Customers By default, plugin sends review reminders to billing emails provided by customers during checkout. If you enable this option, the plugin will check if customers have accounts on your website and will send review reminders to email addresses associated with their accounts. It is recommended to keep this option disabled.”

    I believe that this should stop my eBay customers being emailed as they don’t have accounts in my WC shop? However, upon checking my Orders page I can see that a number of cases (but not all) the eBay customers have a Reminder eMail scheduled.

    I know I can manually delete them, but why is this a problem for some but not others? Is this something that you can resolve please?

    Thanks for trying our plugin!

    I recommend to limit review reminders by user roles and assign your eBay customers some special role that is different from the default WooCommerce customer role. This will be the correct way to prevent sending review invitations to eBay customers.
