it is always better to run the newest version of WP, for security reasons if nothing else
It is nearly impossible to recommend a theme based on e-commerce. Reason being, normally the e-copmmerce stuff is handled by a plugin. I use eshop, but there are others, like wp ecommerce
So basically, any theme will pretty much work. You need to picka theme based on the layout you want… the look and feel you are going for
I really like the suffussion theme for plug and play (as in, for a site where I’m not going to build my own theme) it has lots of options for customizing with no code. But take a look around and find a theme that looks how you want. Nearly any theme will work with the commerce plugins avauilable
Thanks, I am finding out how important it is to find a theme without having to deal with code. The theme previews always look so good until I apply them.
