    Hello!

    I have a few questions
    1. How to hide the affiliate account page from regular users?
    2. How can i use EDD in WP Slice, how to do, can you show tutorial or explain how to do it?

    Thank you

    Hey @lusine0,

Thank you for reaching out! The complete affiliate account is not shown to non-affiliate users. The affiliate registration form will be shown instead. Currently however, there is not way to modify this behavior.

Can you please let me know why you’re looking to hide the affiliate account from regular users?

As far as EDD goes, we don’t currently have a tutorial for this. Please share any questions you have and I’ll do my best to answer them.

Also, if you haven’t set up SliceWP, please do so by following our guides, here: https://slicewp.com/docs/category/getting-started/

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai

I am using Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) on my website with PayPal enabled for payments. I have also installed and activated SliceWP as my affiliate system.

    I want to know:

    1. How can I automate affiliate payouts through PayPal using SliceWP and EDD?
    2. Do I need an additional PayPal integration for SliceWP, or does it work with EDD’s PayPal setup?
    3. Will affiliates be able to withdraw their earnings automatically, or do I need to process them manually?
    4. How can I ensure that affiliate users are kept separate from regular customers in my site’s user management

    Hey @lusine0,

The payments system from Easy Digital Downloads and the payouts system from SliceWP are separate. Each one needs to be configured independently.

To learn all about how our payouts system works, please check these two articles:

Please note that at the moment we do not have automatic payouts. All payouts need to be processed manually. Even so, the plugin does the heavy lifting. The articles go into all of these details.

As for your last question, affiliate users are still users on your website. The access these users have depends on how you have your website configured. If you allow all users to have access to all features, then your affiliates will have access as well.

Affiliates will have the “slicewp_affiliate” user role attached to them. You can make use of this user role to block certain functionality from affiliate users.

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai
