EDD not downloading

Hello

I have just started with a new blank website. I downloaded WordPress and have downloaded 16 plugins with no problem. However EDD does not download correctly. I have changed the theme (both are the free ones), deactivated the other plugins and still no luck.
These are the results I get:

There seems to be a different file problem each time.

Just so you don’t feel too bad about it, I am having the same problem with Jetpack.

I could delete everything and download WP again, but I would prefer not to have wasted the time, but if you suggest I do then I will do it.
