    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    The “Edit” button is only visible for you and other logged-in users who are allowed to edit tables. Regular site visitors will not see it. If you stil want to remove it, please see https://tablepress.org/extensions/remove-edit-link/

    For the border: Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

    I left the old WP table under the new table achieved with TablePress, so you can see what kind of visuals I would like to approach …

    Hi,

    thanks for the link! To achieve a border like that, please add this to the “Custom CSS” textarea on the “Plugin Options” screen of TablePress:

    .tablepress th,
    .tablepress td {
        border: 1px solid #e1e1e1 !important;
    }

    Regards,
    Tobias
