When Woocommerce Payments is enabled, at checkout all it says is “Credit Card”, then followed by the card field.

I’d love to be able to edit the text to say something else, like “Credit/Debit Card”. So people don’t get the wrong idea and think they can only use their CCs on my shop.

Is there a way to do this manually somehow? Like via a function?

    Hey @kiikiikii,

Using a free plugin called Loco Translate you can change the text within a WordPress plugin to be whatever you’d like.

When using WooCommerce Payments I created a language file for the plugin using Loco Translate that matched the main language of my WordPress installation which was English ( United States ).

I then edited the Credit card text within that created language file to be Credit/Debit card instead.

That edited text then displays on the checkout page like this below.

    I hope this helps.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can reopen it again if you need be.
