Edit Flow Usergroup Problem
-
We have a problem with the Usergroup function in Edit Flow. It appears that there is some incompatibility or bug between our website and the most recent version of this plugin.
Whenever we are on the User Profile page, we try to put the user in the correct Usergroup via the check box. It works, but if we attempt to add another user to a Usergroup (does not matter which one) and hit the “Update User” button, the first user is reverted to a default “Staff.”
When we try to place users into different Usergroups on the Edit Flow Usergroups page, it seem fine. We can add different users to different Usergroups, no problem. However, when we return to the User Profile page and attempt to update the user in any way whatsoever (changing their nickname, changing their bio, changing their email) and hit the “Update User” button, all users are returned to their initial state “Staff.” This change is also reflected in Edit Flow. All users are removed from the Usergroups. Each Usergroup reflects 0.
Another interesting thing is that despite all users being reverted to the default “Staff” usergroup, the usergroup titled “Staff” in Edit Flow does not show that any users are in that group. It shows 0.
I believe we updated the plugin to the latest version on July 7. We currently run WP 3.3.2.
We are also running the following set of plugins:
Co-Authors Plus v 2.4.6
Disqus Comment System v 2.72
Jetpack by WP v 1.4.2
openxwpwidget v 1.2.5
W3 Total Cache v 0.9.2.4
Yet Another Related Posts Plugin v 3.5.1Any help is very much appreciated. It is important to have this running on our site (www.dailycal.org) because we receive opinion-editorial pieces that require the ability to add people to usergroups. Thanks very much!
