    Hi, how are you.

I have several users who have the role of administrator. I myself (also an administrator) can edit forms as usual. However, no other administrator can. The page appears if you do not have the rights to access it. There are no restrictions under Settings->Permissions. If I add a new user with the role administraor, it doesn’t work either.

What is the problem here? I hope you can help.

    Hi @bisdanner,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I trust you are doing well.

Can you please share a screenshot of the page Forminator >> Settings >> Permissions for us to check things further?

We look forward to hearing back from you and help you resolve the issue as soon as possible.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi @wpmudevsupport14 ,

Thank you for addressing the issue.
This is the users view. I have just added a Testadmin user. And logged in with this account.

I can do everything except edit.

Afer clicking on the Edit button the access denied paged appears:

And the Settings->Permissions page you want:

As the first administrator, I can set up and edit everything. Only other admins can’t.

Furthermore, only as the first admin can I see the new menu entry Templates and the additional discount information for the Pro version.

    As first administrator:

    If not the first admin:

I hope the information helps me to find the problem.

    Thanks.
    BR

    Hi @bisdanner,

Thanks for the screenshot. Going through the screenshot I’m not able to find anything specific that would be causing within the Forminator side. By default, all admin users will have the same permission to access the plugin.

Most likely any recent changes to the user capabilities via custom code or from a plugin might be triggering the issue on the Forminator side.

Do you have any plugins related to changing user roles or capabilities ?

Could you please check and see how it behaves if you disable all the plugins except Forminator and with a default WP theme?

The above should help in giving a better idea on how to move ahead. Please do let us know how that goes.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin

    Hi @wpmudevsupport11 ,

I had installed several Plugins which defines custom roles (Adminimize, WP Custom Admin Interface and User Role Editor). But non of them changes the admin user role of users capabilities.

But I will try your suggestion, thanks.

    Hi @bisdanner,

Sure, please do keep us posted on how that goes. Also, if possible please do check whether the same issue could be replicated in a different site with other admin users.

Adminize does have the option to update menu options for admin users. However, cannot say for sure whether that’s causing the behaviour. In case you still notice issues even after a conflict test maybe you could export the Adminize settings so that we could see how it behaves on our test site too.

You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud service in the next reply.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best Regards,

    Nithin

    Hi @wpmudevsupport11 ,

Thanks for the tips and hints. I could do some tests and figured out what the problem causes.

The WP Custom Admin Interface plugin had some (unused) old settings that did not match the newly updated plugin menus (especially Forminator). A restet of the plugin settings or deactivation of it helped.

    Thanks again for your support.
