    Hi @seofoxx

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

The Edit link does have some limitations, it would only be able to edit if the link is saved in the database, some links generated dynamically it may fail to edit,

But can you please let us know your site URL, which link you are trying to edit and the link that it should be edited to and if you allow us to try editing it from our end?

    Best Regards

In example i tried to remove the amazon link:

    https://amzn.to/37lzjme

    from this page.

    https://www.promobricks.de/lego-eol-liste-2022/

In the overview i now see that the link was “edited”

    Hi @seofoxx

    Thank you for response!

I checked it closer and I’m afraid in this case plugin won’t be able to edit/unlink those links due to how they are added to the site. Specifically:

    1. those links are in the table created with Ninja Tables plugin
    2. that plugin does store links in DB (so that’s good) but

    a) it uses its own “internal” additiona post type which is not displayed directly but only used as “internal data storage” for the Ninja Tables plugin

    b) additionally, the actual table data is “split” in DB into two separate post_meta records – where one is the table “layout” and another one is only table data

This kind of solution is always a “plugin specific” and for Broken Link Checker to be able to edit that, there would need to be a dedicated integration code implemented for this particular (Ninja Tables) plugin.

I’m afraid there is no such integration currently and we didn’t have any requests for it yet, as well as we didn’t have any issues like this one (specifically related to this table plugin) reported so there are currently no active plans for such integration. If there’ll be a growing demand for that, our developers will surely look into it and may possibly implement it in future but for now, I’m not able to give any promises/ ETA on that.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi @seofoxx

Above case was already forwarded to our developers and I am marking this thread as resolved, but if you have any additional questions feel free to let us know.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
