edit post date

Hello. I’m having issues white editing the post date for my downloads. I’ve noticed that I can’t change the post date to earlier than 1991. If I set the post date to 1990 or earlier my changes are not accepted. Why? For sorting purposes I need things dated back to then. Thanks.
