    Your question is not entirely clear to me. I think what you may be trying to do is this:

    1. You have a widget with a list of posts in there (for example in your sidebar or your footer).
    2. And now you want to style the titles of those posts in your widgets

    If that’s correct, you can style them with CSS.

    Depending on your theme, there’s a place for additional CSS that you can add through the theme customizer. You can write a piece of CSS in there to adjust the size of your post titles in your widgets.

    Thank you for your help. Yes that’s what I was asking. Ok, I thought there might be a way without needing to know css. In any case I’ve decided not to proceed with the page/widget I was creating at this time so it’s no longer a question for me.
