    You can simply use Google’s own embed code, which puts the sheet inside an iframe. No plugin is needed for that. 🙂

    I am aware of that function. However, I don’t find the function very useful or user friendly.

    The bast case would be a drop-down, textfield or something similar to that.

    Is there anything I can do? Maybe using a database as the “connection” to the spreadsheet?

    Google does provide an API to modify Sheets content but that is not implemented by this plugin. Sorry, this plugin does not do what you are trying to do. A different plugin might, but I don’t know of any such plugins that already exist. If you can’t find one, you can still do this, but you will have to write your own plugin to do so.
