Sadly, that just changes from between the theme’s default format and WordPress. I’d like to customize the theme’s format in order to translate it to my language, which is different from English.
I managed to do it once by editing the theme’s code, but I can’t remember which file it was.

Since you have mentioned that you made the changes on the theme file, the changed has been removed after the latest update. So if you want to change any files or code on the theme, make sure to make those changes on the child theme as suggested here: https://themegrill.com/blog/tutorial-creating-wordpress-child-theme/.
