Hi @joeeyireland1628,
Thanks for your message.
Yes you can, you can style it into more of a button with HTML and CSS just like normal using the Text mode of the notification editor.
Hope this helps.
Hey @voltronik Which notification is this? i tried New User – Post-registration Email but it sends that and also the other email with the link
Hi @joeeyireland1628,
It should work with any notification as they all use the WYSIWYG editor.
If you’re having issues getting it to work, can you post a screenshot of your HTML code and then the output in the email so I can take a look?
Sorry, I want to know which notification is the one for the email activation link in the dropdown. I know how to customise it using the editor just need to know which notification it is.
Hi @joeeyireland1628,
Oh, I see.
The email that sends out to a user immediately after they register with the password url is the ‘New User Registration – For User’ notification.
Hope this helps.
@voltronik in the editor i cant see how to take the activation link and put it in a href of a button
@voltronik I have just signed up with my notification set (new user registration – for user) and it still sends the default WordPress one
Hi @joeeyireland1628,
This usually happens when another plugin is attempting to override it too.
Do you have any other plugins that might do this?

Not really its a fresh wordpress install with WPUF Advanced Custom Fields and Better Notifications
Hi @joeeyireland1628,
I’ve just tested this and it’s working fine as expected for me – BNFW is overriding the default WordPress notification.
Are you definitely using the ‘New User Registration – For User’ notification? Are you getting one notification or two (the default + BNFW’s)?
@joeeyireland1628,
Hmm.
Did you make your way through this document: https://betternotificationsforwp.com/how-can-i-receive-the-best-support/
Still sounds like some kind of conflict to me.
