They can be added, removed, and rearranged on the WordPress Administration Appearance > Widgets panel.

Yes I know, but I have not selected the Meta widget or the archive widget. I have main sidebar, blog right sidebar and single page right sidebar. on single page right sidebar I have a twitter timeline and a text box. but they are not showing on any of my pages. how do I get this to show up on my pages.

Sidebar with Meta widget and archive it’s default WordPress widgets. Add your needed widgets to sidebar section.
I have the same issue… I have been able to remove all widgets from another website with another theme – why not this theme?
And why are they not visible on the “front page” and not the other?

You can choose full width page template if you don’t need sidebar.
