    Hi Tobias,

I would like to make a specific field within the table editable by users (aka site visitors). So that they can, for instance, change the number of a specific field within the table. The change should only be visible to the specific user.

Is there a way of accomplishing this with this plugin? If not, are you planning on adding such functionality in the near future?

If not could you give me a hint in what way this could be accomplished?

Many thanks for your response in advance! It will be much appreciated!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here. Something like this is not possible with TablePress at this time, and I don’t have any specific plans to add something like this. Sorry for not having better news here.

If it’s just a single field, you might want to look into using some custom PHP or even JavaScript code with a custom HTML form.

    Regards,
    Tobias
