Editing Child Theme

Hello, I created a child theme….and the only code changes I could make were to remove the search bar. I just installed child theme widget…and edit from there. Here’s the site.

I have another site…where I changed the nav. bar color…but in the below site…it did not change. How do I edit the child theme and see the changes?
