Editing CSS in MAB

    I’m new to Custom CSS.

    Listed below are the items of confusion I have in configuring my Newsletter Opt-In box.

    1) I can’t figure out which lines of code refer to which elements of the MAB. Because of this, I’m unable to…
    1a) Use a font which is unavailable in the drop-down menu.
    1b) Center-align the Submit button

    2) Which Custom CSS box should I be editing? In a particular MAB Settings or in the particular User Style?

    3) What is the code to have a field label placed inside the text input field instead of above it?

    Hi Sam, can you put a link to your web page?

    for #2, it depends. If the custom css is for the specific to an action box, then use the Custom CSS field in the action box edit screen. If it is specific to the custom user style, then add your custom css in the Custom CSS field for the user style.

    for #3, you’ll need to edit the raw html code you got from your email service provider. Look for the <input type="text"> field and add the placeholder attribute so that it something like this:

    <input type="text" placeholder="Enter your name">

    Thanks for your help, Ryann. I was able to use the code you provided.

    I’m starting to get the hang of how the CSS works for the MAB.
