Editing footer block

    I am new to WordPress and simply want to edit our company address in the footer. Must I create a new block to do this?

    I think that the address at the bottom of website is controlled in a widget area – I see the following when I inspect the code.

    textwidget custom-html-widget

    it looks like you are using the Avada theme which might have some special controls. the Avada team is most familiar and could provide guidance try this link: https://avada.com/help-center/

    (I don’t know if “creating a new block” would be a good solution for making the change you wish with the Avada theme.)
