Editing page drops Custom CSS
-
Hi Otter team –
Love the plugin, but have hit a frustrating bug.
Situation
- We recently tried to make a small edit to our homepage. (It’s been a few months since our last edit.)
- The prior version included Otter block custom CSS to dynamically size and position headers.
- Upon starting the edit, the custom CSS disappeared.
- When publishing, it was gone.
- We attempted to re-add the custom CSS. It had the intended affect on the preview, but when we published it, it again disappeared.
- We weren’t able to roll-back to a prior revision (within the page editor) because each time the custom CSS would disappear from the rolled-back draft.
- We eventually had to restore the whole site with a backup just to get back to where we had been before the edit.
Example where CSS is stripped out
- I have created a cloned copy of the homepage with no additional edits and published it here so that you can see the difference with the CSS. (Ignore the difference with the menu bar. That’s a function of this page not actually being the homepage.)
How can we restore the Custom CSS functionality again?
Thanks!
