Editing registration & login forms

Both of those should be possible by adding some custom CSS. For example, for the text color:

,.ewd-feup-req-symbol {
    color: blue;
}

And for the width of the content box:

@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
    .feup-pure-control-group {
        min-width: 575px;
    }

    .ewd-feup-register-field-instructions,

        min-width: 70%;
    }
}
