This is the first issue I’ve ever experienced with tablepress. Aside from this, it’s been bulletproof. I last edited it in Feb. 2023 and it worked fine. Now when I click on edit, all I get is the HTML boxes rather than the normal form. I know a little HTML but only enough to be dangerous.

The link is a screenshot of what I get when attempting to edit the tablehttps://jdcdemo.com/tp-prob.html

What can I do to fix this?

Thanks to those who know more than me,

    Joe

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

From what I can see, everything is correct here. This is the TablePress editing user interface (which was overhauled in TablePress 2.0). It’s not more like common spreadsheet software like Excel.

You can simply modify the table content in these fields, just double-click into them, for example, to see the cursor.

I am sorry to be a pain with this issue, but regardless of what I do I cannot get the Table Contents interface similar to a spreadsheet to display.

    Thanks,
    Joe

    Hi,

the “Table Content” section is the one right above “Table Manipulation”, and it’s showing right there 🙂 The heading is also visible on your first screenshot https://jdcdemo.com/tp-prob.html

It is that section with the “HTML boxes” as you called them.

    Regards,
    Tobias
