I wonder why the the last user who edits a doc becomes the doc author. Is this a feature or a bug? Doesn’t really make sense. Was this different in previous versions? How can we change this behavior? The doc author should be the person who created the doc until this is changed manually.

It is a bug because it breaks the “start by me” feature and it probably was introduced in version 2. 1.9.4 doesn’t have this bug. Any chance you fix this?

Hi Michael-

Thanks again for your report. I changed the save logic a little in this last update, and it was causing the problem. You can see the repaired code here:

We’ll release an update fairly soon, but feel free to correct your codebase in the meantime if it’s causing a big problem for you.
