Editor and Author not working

    I’m looking for ways to disable the dashboard for normal users and found plugin. I configured it to allow Author and Editor but it’s not honouring the setting. I made my test user a Editor but access to the dashboard is disabled.

    Hi zos007,

    Is it possible that you’ve changed any of the default capability settings for the Author role? The “Author and Editor” setting is pinned to the “publish_posts” capability by default.
