    Hi

Editors on the website have full access to the tablepress plugin as far as I know. However in the plugin-toptions tab an editor can not see the option to change custom css “Frontend options and styling”.
Any ideas how I can give the editor access to this?

    Kind regards
    Joran

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

That’s correct, editors normally don’t have access to the “Custom CSS” text area. If you trust your editors to not e.g. add CSS code there that would change the site layout, you can give them access by assigning another WordPress access capability to the “Editor” role.
For that, I recommend using a plugin like https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/members/
In it’s role manager, allow the “Editor” role the “tablepress_edit_options” access capability. (After doing that, you can deactivate and uninstall that “Members” plugin again.)

    Regards,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
