Editor not working

    Hi

    I am using WordPress 4.2.1 running Contango theme.
    I was using the Single page theme had copied my Wording from Microsoft word, adjusted some formatting then tried to add images, I added four 250×210 images in a row, then tried to preview.when I came back to The edit page the page was blank, however where I believe there were spelling errors there were wavy lines on the editor-just like the incorrect spelling underlines.

    All the menu buttons were not displaying, now this had happened on another site so I deleted the Akismet plugin and it was ll ok after that.
    however for this unpublished site I had to delete all the Plug ins and went back to the contango theme and still no Joy.

    Ive now deleted all pages and posts with the result that still no buttons show when I try to start a new page, the only button that shows is the add media. however the Media on the main Menu, when clicked, only shows add media even though there were images there. I could however see them via the page view. I have since deleted those in case they were the problem,

    The whole admin site is not working, and I am now down to no plug ins no pages and no images. I just have general setting set.

    Check your theme maybe not compatible with new WordPress

    Hi I have reverted to Contango which is a standard WordPress theme I did have Single page another free one supplied by WordPress and have also tried Twenty Fifteen still to no avail.

    Hi LEft it for an hour or so then changed to Twenty fifteen, now seems ok.

    Well that lasted a long time I added a new page, using Twenty fifteen, Inserted my text, added four images (JPG files) to the Media library, tried to ad to the page and it all went bad again.

    I stil have no plugins

    So I did a full re-install of WordPress from my domain. It all looked ok So I added four JPG files to the media library and its happened again. They do not show in the media library and even the sample page does not show up properly, deleted the only two plug ins and it remains the same.

    So that only worked for a short while also, Is there a problem with pasting text from Microsoft word?
