Editor not working

    I can’t use the link function (but used to be able to). I also can’t switch from the visual to the html editor.

    I uninstalled all the plug-ins but that didn’t change anything. I also uninstalled the extra themes I was looking at as well.

    Any ideas on what I can do to resolve the problem?

    Hi,

    What browser are you using? Do you have anything blocking javascript in your browser like a security setting or other? I would also try restarting the browser to see if that helps?

    Hi Chad,

    I am using IE. I updated the java, cleared the cache and cookies, rebooted the computer and still nothing.

    I have also noticed that I can’t click on screen options or help in the upper right corner.

    Thoughts?

    Have you tried:

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
