I set up a site for a customer and gave them an Editor role. I want them to be able to login and see their analytics. Is this possible?

FYI If I give them admin access then they will be able to see ALL analytics data for ALL my accounts, which I can’t have.

  • Hi @winningtech,

Thank you for reaching out, I’d be happy to help clarify here.
If you install our plugin, everyone that has a login for your WordPress account will be able to view the site’s Google Analytics.

As long as you authenticate the account you wish to display, they will not be able to see any other accounts attached to your Google Analytics.

Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other questions @winningtech.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately this is not the case. I have a user who has an Editor role. They can not see the plugin.

    Hi @winningtech,

Thanks for getting back to me and apologies for the misinformation.
I’ve just gotten confirmation on my end that by default WordPress removes all plugin access for Editors.

At this time, this feature is not available but I’ll be sure to let our engineering team know that people are interested in this option.

If you have any other questions or feedback please let us know @winningtech.
