• Hello,

We are using a child theme based on Twenty Twenty-Five on our WP site https://jobs.fliprly.com/, there are no style modification in the child theme.

When we edit a post/page and reduce the browser width, we lose editor’s padding/margin. See the image below.

Top image is the one with the reduced browser width, compare it with the image below that.

Why is it happening, and how to fix it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi

If the child theme does not include style changes or custom templates that overrides the parent theme templates, then perhaps the issue is with a plugin?
Have you made any changes to the global padding, margin, or templates using the Site Editor?
Perhaps you have accidentally removed the padding.
If you go to Appearance > Editor > Templates and look at the page and post templates, you can check if they are also missing the spacing in the preview or when editing them in the Site Editor.

It is not possible for me to troubleshoot this further without more information; activating an empty child theme does not change the layout for me.

I just checked Appearance > Editor > Templates. We didn’t modify any elements there and the templates look fine as they are not showing any padding.
