I’m facing an issue with the All-in-One WP Migration plugin when trying to import backups (300-900MB) to a site that has its wp-content and import directory located on an AWS EFS (Elastic File System).

Despite having sufficient disk space according to my hosting provider, I consistently receive a “not enough disk space” error. Oddly, even after this error appears, the import process seems to continue to completion, when I click on button “Don’t have disk space…”.

I suspect that the issue might be related to the AWS EFS configuration or some kind of interaction between the plugin and the AWS EFS.

Has anyone else encountered similar problems when using the All-in-One WP Migration plugin with an AWS EFS? Are there any known bugs or limitations that I should be aware of?

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

AWS EFS has unique characteristics. It differs from traditional storage. There are difference in how it handles metadata and latency. This sometimes causes compatibility issues when the plugin checks disk space.

The button “I have enough disk space” is added for this particular use case. If the restore/import works fine once you click the button, you are good to go.
