You’ll need 2 Zones – and then select the ‘Limit to specific ZIP/postcodes’ under the Zone Regions box (where you selected Dublin)
Create 1 Zone for each side of the city and use wildcards to specify the codes for that area:
D001*
D002*
D003* etc
Thanks so much. Do you know if the code drops a zero for the double digit areas in dublin? eg. would dublin 13 be D0013 or D013?
No idea – I’ve only ever used UK postcodes – but those seem to work in the same way!
I had a quick Google and it looks like they don’t use the leading zeros – do D1, D2 etc. Simple way to work it out would be to add a few and see what works!
Also, do they usually have a space between the two parts of the code? UK postcodes do: A11 1AA for example.
If that’s the case then you might need to have a space before the * – so something like:
D1 *
D2 *
That will stop D11 being triggered with D1*
Just a quick edit to that:
The format is 3 charasters for the area – so: D01 *, D02 * … D11 *, D12 * etc
Use the space before the *
Hi,
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
Thanks.
Hi there,
I’m looking to split my Shipping Zones using the ‘Limit to specific ZIP/postcodes’ feature in Dublin and Ireland.
Does anyone know what the correct Postcodes / Wildcards that should be used for Dublin and Ireland?
I see above that; D01 *, D02 * … D11 *, D12 * etc was suggested.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks, Cian
