Hi. The best thing to do is to go through each of the possible solutions located at https://docs.elementor.com/article/184-cant-edit-with-elementor . You’ll probably find the solution pretty quickly.
I loaded it to a brand new site with zero plugins except Elementor and Elementor Pro. OP is correct, it absolutely does not work when PRO is activated. I have drama on 7 sites now where it has stopped working and this is starting to cost me money. If anyone knows anything I’m all ears!
I don’t have Pro – just the regular. I have a WP person through GoDaddy trying to troubleshoot some things for me as I just don’t have the time. Will let you know if they come up with anything, but it sounds like a bug from one of their recent updates.
