I edited the footer this morning and changed the colour with Elementor. Then I wanted to “tie down” the footer at the bottom so it’s not the middle of the screen of my simple contact page. I added some css code in the customizer, but it didn’t work. So I deleted the css code again and now I can’t edit the footer with Elementor again. Every time I hit edit, it says “preview could not be loaded” (for the footer template) and then nothing else happens. If I open any page to edit with Elementor it loads fine, the header template loads fine with Elementor, too. I’ve cleared the cache of website and browser, I enabled safe mode in Elementor and also tried creating a new template – when I hit edit it takes me straight to the Posts tab. So it’s either a redirect to the posts tab in Elementor safe mode or it’s a complete no in normal mode for the footer.

    What can I do?

Thank you loads for all your help in advance!

I rolled back the plugin. I was then able to create a new footer template and delete the faulty one.
