Hi, I’ve made a CPT, associated a taxonomy, populated the content, installed Filter Everything, created an elementor archive page, and inserted the filter at the top of the elementor archive. I had to do this using the shortcode, because I don’t see the FE options in the elementor widgets. The taxonomy terms show up in the filter, the correct number of items shows up with each term in the filter, but the filters don’t work. I click them and nothing happens.

I notice that the description says that the pro version contains full elementor integration, but you were using the free version in the video and seemed to describe what I needed – though the elementor widgets not showing up throws me.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

  • Faced the same problem. The number of entries in the filters is shown correctly, but when filtering, it says that nothing was found. I have made 5 filters. Not working 4. Only one filters. I somehow managed to fix them once (I didn’t figure it out myself, but I think it was after recreating the link structure (The permalink structure has been changed.) But now that a new post has been added, the filter doesn’t work again. It seems that the Elementor is not wants to interact with the filter plugin.

    Hello @mightyminnow

Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything plugin.

Filters widget is available in Elementor sidebar in regular WordPress widgets section. For some reason they cannot be found via search field in the sidebar, but you can scroll down it and select the widget in WordPress section. And also you can use shortcode – result will be the same.

About filtering process – if you use native WordPress WP_Query for this archive page (you can select in Elementor posts module “Current query”) it will be filtered. If you use another (Custom WP_Query) it can be filtered with FE PRO only.

I hope this info will be useful for you.

Thanks! I’m extremely appreciative of your help. I was also having a problem where I was getting a page not found using “OR” and then I read this:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/or-filter-gives-a-404-when-selecting-multiple-options/

So I changed the URL var name, and now that works, but when I select the term that has 3, I get three, and then I add the term that has one, I still only get the initial 3. The fourth item isn’t added.

    Can you advise?
