Elementor does not load custom translated Header template

    Hi, I have followed in detail all instructions.
    Elementor Pro
    Polylang (free) + Polylang connect for Elementor
    Default lang: Icelandic, additional US English
    Theme is Ocean WP, no custom templates used.

    All translations work no problems switching between languages

    Then it is decided to change the look of the site.
    New Theme is Hello Elementor

    Created Custom Header for Home IS = Conditions set to Homepage IS only
    Custom Header for All other pages IS = Conditions set for the 4 other pages IS
    Custom Footer IS for all pages = Conditions set for entire site

    First I thought I could just go ahead and assign a new EN Header for Home, other pages and the footer to the English translations.. but in the conditions it never gave me the option to assign to the English pages.
    I start to ask Google, and find out that I was not supposed to do it this way, but to go into the Theme builder, click the + symbol and create the new Headers and footer this way.
    I delete all my other custom translated Headers and footer and start over, now the right way by clicking + from the Theme builder.

    When the new Header EN theme opens up, I click update, and then click on Edit with Elementor, but it doesn’t load. It loads a blank page and offers me to open in Safe mode.
    In safe mode it shows and I can edit, but then gives an error when I want to go back to view the edited Header.

    I tried to delete all my translations, uninstalled the language plugins, reinstalled and started from scratch.. this time on another computer, but the problem persists.

    It is like the system is stuck on something I did wrong to start with, and doesn’t ‘realize’ the problem is gone.

    Yes, latest version of Elementor Pro
    I found a workaround, but it does not work for Single Posts for my second language.

    After I created Header (Default lang) assigned to entire site
    I clicked the + and created the Header (second lang) no assignment

    By going to the second lang via the flags, I was able to access the header (and custom footer done the same way) from within ‘Edit with Elementor’ and click the yellow ‘Header’ and or ‘footer’ for the translations BUT NOT by clicking the drop down to Edit the custom Header EN or Footer EN

    As I said, this has worked perfectly, until now that I am ready to edit the Custom Single Post Template for the Second Language (Single Post EN)
    I can not access it from the front from ‘Edit with Elementor’
    If I try the link created when I clicked the + it gives me white page with the elementor stuck on loading
    If I try to click the drop down Edit Single Post EN (from the front) same thing

    The fact that it drops down the correct custom Template on each site I am on, shows that the Plugin is working, and the setup is correct.
    It is just not loading from the Saved Templates, nor from the drop down.

    I finally found out why it stopped loading in my case 🙂
    I remembered changing the Settings/Permalinks from https://mysite.com/post-name to Custom Structure where I added %category% before %postname%

    Even though the site is live and I have already activated Yoast, I changed it back and instantly I could open my custom Single Page EN!
