I’ve got the same issue. Header/footer plugin breaks the Elementor editor. Can’t even load in safe mode.
Disabled all other plugins and just had Header/Footer and it still was breaking, so no other conflict.

We have checked the website of the earlier user and found that it was not the plugin’s issue.
Kindly try flushing the permalinks and increase the memory limit at your end.
Add this to the top, before the line that says, “/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */”:
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’);
Verify the same under Elementor’s System Information.

I have replied to your ticket from the support portal and added the screenshots as well.
Kindly increase the memory limit and confirm the same in the Elementor > info system.
It should be 512M for the plugin to work smoothly since you have many other plugins.
Or else you can deactivate some other plugins and the HFB plugin will work well.
