Elementor Email SMTP problem

What you’re seeing in Elementor’s Deliverability tab isn’t actually pulled from Forminator, and that’s the key point here. Elementor runs its own email test using the global WordPress email setup, not the email configured inside your Forminator form.

That “other” email you’re seeing usually comes from the WordPress admin email (Settings > General), the “From Email” defined in your SMTP plugin if you’re using one, or the default server/PHP mail configuration if no SMTP is set. So Elementor isn’t detecting your Forminator settings at all it’s simply testing how your site sends emails globally.

As for why you’re not receiving emails from Forminator, that’s a separate flow. Forminator sends emails based on the Email Notification settings inside the form, but it still relies on the same underlying mail system (SMTP or PHP mail) used by WordPress.

If emails aren’t reaching you, the most common reasons are SMTP not being configured correctly, emails ending up in spam, or the hosting server blocking PHP mail.

I’d recommend first confirming your SMTP setup and making sure the “From Email” is correct and authenticated. Then submit a test through your Forminator form and check both your inbox and spam folder, and verify that the recipient email in Forminator is set correctly.
